The Viewer Having Restless Sleeps...
This week we are into The Viewer book by (Shaun Tan). There was a phrase that said "he was having a restless sleep" so we had to act it out. The book is about a boy named Tristan and he look at the olden day picture machine were it shows all sorts of photos and he saw them but he could not sleep. I have worked with my friend Arnav to act out and edit the photo. Here is the soundscape link:

Week 4 Term 3 Reflection 2015
Backward-Looking:
What have been your learning highlights so far this term?
My Learning highlight this year is camp because we now know how to work together and not make a big fus. Also encouraging others was one big thing for us because that is following the Hay Park way. One last thing is that we were trying to be as resilient as possible.
|
Inward-Looking:
What were your Learner Profile goals for Term 3? Have your goals changed? Are you on track to meet your goals?
My learner profile goals are to be a risk taker and also being resilience to never give up. I think I am on track. Also on my Goal for term 3 it says that one of my goals are to be a risk-taker. That means that I am on track and what I have been doing is that my parents tell me a list of positive things to do and I have to agree and do it.
|
Outward-Looking:
If you were the teacher, what comments would you make about your learning so far this term?
If I was a teacher then I would probably say that I need to work harder to achieve my goals. I practise more at my house but I pay lots of attention to the teacher and ask myself questions. I also think that I would have to more work at home so I can achieve my goals.
|
Forward-Looking:
As you look back at your learning so far, what's one thing that you would like to try to improve upon over the next few weeks?
I think I would have to improve on my maths strategies because i'm just getting mixed up but it’s not low it is just cause of that. Also other strategies I know is place value and that is what one I am going to stick with.

My Comment To A Classmates Blog Post
This is my comment to a classmates blog post.
My comment is a Quality blog comment because I have added in a question and also
I have done that to start a conversation. Also I have wrote lots of good things about it but do not
write anything bad about it. Because that person is going to be all sad and we don't do that at our school.
That Was Camp!!!
Last week we had gone to camp at long bay Marine Education Recreation Center.
We had plenty of fun and we had much more activities then you think.
This is my Remember When Poem which now will be my life remembering.
That Was Camp.
Remember when we were doing archery and we gave it a shot?
Remember when I was looking at the view in the early morning and it was paradise?
That was camp.
Remember when we were doing mountain biking and we went to a haunted house?
Remember when we were doing stackem and the strange shaking legs feeling hoped on?
That was camp.
Remember when my spoon went in the stinky smelly rubbish bin when we were washing our own dishes?
Do you remember when I was surfing and the giant waves came like a tsunami?
That was camp.

Upbeat, disturbing, crying
Homesick, sulky
